At Hampton Handcrafted Candle Co., we believe hope has a scent — and our goal is to help you find one that inspires comfort, memory, and joy.

Our founder, James Hampton, started making candles during early recovery after addiction nearly destroyed his life. What began as a small creative outlet became a way to rebuild, reconnect, and share hope with others.

One day, a candle brought James back to a peaceful childhood memory — a time that felt safe, simple, and full of possibility. That moment inspired him to start creating candles that could do the same for someone else.

Today, Hampton Handcrafted has grown into a small-batch candle company built on care, transparency, and craftsmanship.

Every candle is hand-poured using soy wax, chosen for its smooth burn, clean fragrance experience, and quality performance. Each batch is tested, cured, and finished with labels designed in-house.

We take pride in doing as much as we can ourselves, while also partnering with other small businesses whenever possible. Community matters to us, and we believe there is room for all makers to grow, learn, and succeed.

Nothing we do here is a secret. Transparency is part of our foundation, and we are always happy to share what we have learned along the way.
